To say it plainly: that's just my style. I thrive in capturing the authentic, candid personalities and interactions of you and your loved ones down to the smallest overlooked detail. To do that well, I need to be in two places at once, so to speak. Here are a few other benefits to YOU that having a second shooter allows: Unhurried timeline. Wider variety of photos. Fuller documentation of your day.
I provide a sneak peek gallery of about 100-150 photos up to 7 days after your wedding date. Your full gallery will be delivered within 3 months. I refuse to rush through photos and need to allow myself the time to recharge creatively.
I shot my first wedding / elopement in 2021 with absolutely no intention of pursing photography full time. Well, by 2022 I had so many weddings booked that I was able to quit my Editing job and call myself a wedding photographer. From there I worked hard to build a business that reflects my values and passions as a way to serve brides and push back against the hustle and grind normalized in this industry.
Every image is color corrected, straightened, and cropped as needed by hand. I perform color touch-ups in a way that holds to the genuine & realness of how the moment looked in real life. I do light photoshopping to remove distractions and keep the eye drawn to how the photo feels.
Definitely. I believe in nurturing lasting relationships. I send a feedback questionnaire that is so important to me personally and professionally. I love to help design photo albums long after a wedding date has passed. I am always here to help with printing/framing recommendations or just answer any questions you have about downloading photos or photography in general!
