My name is Kassidy!
I am a born & raised Lancaster county girl who moved out to the Lehigh Valley with my husband & best friend, Caden. My photography journey feels like an unexpected gift from the Lord (which it is!) but if I look back at my life, from a young age I have always had a lean towards artistic things. I was "that friend" who had to stop and take a picture of everything. I have always been someone who makes a hobby out of finding the beauty in small, overlooked things and I thrive by creating my own aesthetic. I studied Professional Writing in college which is probably why I view photography as a story-telling opportunity. My desire is to capture people as they truly are. ​I am all about capturing real stories, candid moments, authentic emotions, and genuine expressions of love.To me, photography is about building personal relationships with real people in order to tell their story and capture their personality in a still-shot. My faith in a holy, sovereign Creator is what influences how I approach photography. That is why I am here -- to know you & serve you as a friend.

When I am not holding a camera, I am holding a large cup of coffee. I am equal parts beach bum & mountain girl. The ocean & snow are my two loves and I simply cannot chose between them so don't ask me to. I hate silence so I am always playing music, podcasts, or humming to myself to fill the space of sound. I can never seem to satisfy the itch to explore new places and meet new people which is also how I ended up working for a global college ministry organization. In the little moments of "spare" time I find, I'll fill it with thrifting, reading, cooking, exploring, or discussing theology with my husband. Things that make me smile from the inside out: biblical truth, my husband, coffee, tiny things, natural light, plants, meeting new people, and homemaking.

In just 8 months I went from having zero intention of being a photographer to calling it a "hobby" to quitting my job and tackling wedding photography full-time with a full-booked calendar in my first year. I took a photography course in college that was supposed to be an elective credit and "just for fun" but I failed my first project and withdrew from the course so it wouldn't affect my GPA! That was the extent of my education on this subject. However, I still believe a picture is worth a thousand words, so I invite you to preview through my wedding gallery and let my work speak for itself!
